10 healthy smoothies for a good night’s sleep

It is true that many things were simpler back in the day, but that does not mean that some of the complications we face nowadays are bad. For example, a while ago a glass of warm milk was the only drink considered to be helpful when you were going to bed. These days, there are lots of healthy drinks that you can have right before going to bed with only positive effect on your health and sleep quality.

Smoothie is one of those healthy half-snacks you are welcome to have before heading for bed, what is more, they are very versatile so that the change you will get bored of such a bedtime routine is pretty thin. What is more, today we are going to treat you with a fair share of such smoothies so that your life gets easier and your health gets better.

#1. Green Smoothie

2 bananas 1 pear or apple

2 cups of kale leaves,

1/2 cup of orange juice

1/2 cup of cold water

Some ice

1 tablespoon of flaxseed

Mix the ingredients together in a blender and enjoy the smoothie.

#2. Sweet Dreams

1/2 cup of milk

1/2 banana

1/2 cup cherries

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Blend and enjoy.

#3. Seed Smoothie

1 banana

1⁄4 cup of blueberries

1⁄4 cup of raspberries

2 cups of spinach

1 tbsp of pumpkin seeds

1 tbsp of sunflower seed

Place all the ingredients in a blender and fill it out with water. Blend it and get ready to taste heavenly-tasting smoothie.

#4. Sleep Smoothie

1 cup of cherry juice

1/2 banana

1/2 cup soy milk

Ice

1/4 tsp of vanilla extract

Smooth it all out in a blender and enjoy.

#5. Dream Smoothie

1/2 cup of milk

1/2 banana

1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1 teaspoon of honey

Blend all well and drink it right before going to bed.

#6. Pre-Sleep Smoothie

1 kiwi 1 frozen banana

½ cup of oats

2 cups of kale

1 tbsp of honey

½ cup of milk

Blend and enjoy!

#7. Smoothie Elixir

1 cup chamomile tea

1/2 banana

Few cherries

1 – 2 teaspoons of chia seeds

1/2 celery

Blend it all well and drink it an hour or so before going to bed.

#8. Nightcap

1 Banana

1 Date

1 Fig

12 Cashews

Place all the ingredients in the blender and fill out space with milk. Blent it all well and treat yourself to it.

#9. Healthy Smoothie

1 banana

Some kale

1 kiwi

½ avocado

400ml milk

1tbsp honey

Blend and enjoy!

#10. Good Sleep Smoothie

2 peaches

1 banana

2 tbsp. almonds

1/2 almond milk

Few mint leaves

Enjoy this tasty smoothie after blending all the ingredients well.
