#1. DIY Beeswax Candles

You need ingredients such as:

1/2 lb beeswax pellets (filtered beeswax is best for this)

1/4 cup of coconut oil

cotton candle wicks

large glass jars

wick stickers

4 oz glass or ceramic jars (as candle container)

bamboo skewers

You need to put beeswax pellets into the jar. Fill the pot with water and bring to boil. Put the jar into the water and gently melt the beeswax. Stir with the bamboo skewer as it melts. Don’t let it smoke, because beeswax is flammable so be careful. Then, prepare your candle jar as the wax is melting by adding a wick sticker to the bottom of your wick. Place it in the center of the bottom of the jar. Wrap the wick around a skewer that is across the jar to keep in an upright position. Add coconut oil to melted wax and stir. Pour the wax (and oil) into your candle container and let it set for 2 days before using.

#2. Homemade Air Freshener

2 tbsp of either vodka, real vanilla extract or rubbing alcohol

8 drops of peppermint essential oil

10 drops of wild orange essential oil

old candles

beer can (remove the top lid)

pot -ground coffee

teaspoon

candle wicks

candle jar (or any container of your choice)

Melt for 3-4 minutes while stirring continuously. Add 2 tsp of coffee to the melted wax, stir and leave to boil. Pour the wax into your candle jar. Quickly put in your candle wicks before the wax sets. Let it set and your DIY with coffee is ready!
