According to the Japanese, there are special points on your hand which are responsible for pain relief, tension release and stress elimination. For example, your thumb is responsible for anxiety, the index finger is responsible for fear, middle finger – for anger, ring finger – for depression and pinkie – for self-esteem.
When you know what each of your fingers is responsible for, you need to learn how to control all of that. So, here is what you are going to do.
First of all, you need to open your hand, so that your fingers are spread. Now, it is time to start your massage. Instead of concentrating on just one finger, you should massage all of them. Of course, you need to start with your thumb.
Place the thumb and index finger of your other hand over the tip of your thumbs, on each side of your fingernails, and start lightly pressing as you move down. Keep going up and down up to 2 minutes, with all of your thoughts concentrated on the release of bad energy.
Once you are done with your thumb, repeat the procedure with the rest of your fingers. Finish the massage by pressing your fingers to the middle of your palm, for about one minute.
